Crowden Community Music Day
Families from all over the Bay Area love Community Music Day, Crowden Music Center's annual free musical carnival! Festivities feature an "Instrument Petting Zoo," where kids and adults alike touch and learn to make sounds on the instruments of a symphony orchestra. San Francisco Chamber Orchestra leads three Very First Concerts themed "A One and a Two: Adventures in Counting" at 10:40, 11:20, and 12:00pm. The celebration also includes instrument making, class demos, face painting, games, prizes, and musical performances throughout the day, including Crowden students, Duo Camaraderie and the San Francisco Girls Chorus. "There was a cabaret, and there was a master of ceremonies... and there was a city called Berlin, in a country called Germany...and it was the end of the world." Step into the infamous Kit Kat Club where the Emcee, Sally Bowles, and the tantalizing Kit Kat girls can make you forget your troubles. But how long will this decadent escape protect you from the world outside? Don't miss the Tony-award-winning musical that has just returned to Broadway, featuring such memorable hits as "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Maybe This Time." Wilkommen. Your table is waiting.
