J. Otto Seibold and Mr. Lunch
In a playful exhibit exploring the first children’s books designed with computer software, original art from East Bay artist J. Otto Seibold accompanies interactive children’s zones creating a family-friendly experience. The exhibit covers Seibold’s life and artistic process in creating the adorable Mr. Lunch characters.
Breakfast with Mugabe
Aurora Theatre presents the West Coast premiere of Fraser Grace’s emotionally charged story of Zimbabwean dictator seeking treatment from a psychiatrist. The play touches upon race, politics, the human condition, and the evil, corrupting influences of absolute power. Select shows followed by Talk Backs with the cast and crew.

In Flux presents 4 premiers:
Kara Davis and Shinichi Iova-Koga, present new dances, including Davis' Lapse, that investigates liminal space, and Iova-Koga's x=sky, a play on internal and external architectures, where objects and bodies meet, merge, and separate.
Guest choreographer Risa Jaroslow, stages the premiere of Sororis, a dance for five.
The MRDC will also feature Mills MinEvent, crafted by Holley Farmer. This Cunningham Trust-sanctioned project is a collage of dance extracts dating to the 1960s & 1990s of Merce Cunningham's oeuvre.
In Flux will be the first production of the MRDC under new Artistic Director, Kara Davis.
