Description
The Immunization Assistance Project is a state funded program designed to promote immunizations throughout Alameda County by enhancing immunization opportunities and increasing immunization rates among children and adults. The project provides immunization assessments, technical assistance and evaluation, outreach education, vaccine distribution and monitoring, disease outbreak investigation, case management for pregnant women who are Hepatitis B positive, and other coordinated efforts with a variety of Alameda County organizations. The project's goal is to meet the national and state goal of assuring that 90% of children under two are fully immunized.
