102nd Annual Bay to Breakers
Thousands of athletes from around the globe will take over the streets of San Francisco for the 102nd annual Bay to Breakers, one of the world’s largest and longest running footraces. This classic 12K (7.46 miles) is a long-standing tradition that attracts an eclectic mix of more than 50,000 participants including elite athletes, centipede teams of 13, celebrities, costumed racers, corporate co-workers, families, marathon runners, weekend walkers and more. Spectators are invited to enjoy this quintessential San Francisco event from several vantage points throughout San Francisco: the start line downtown; the Crest of the Hayes Street Hill at Alamo Square; Golden Gate Park; and the finish line along the Great Highway. In addition to the race, spectators will enjoy creative costumed characters at the annual Costume Contest, as well as live music, food, interactive activities, the Greater Body Expo and more.

Baby Loves Disco SF
Baby loves disco is back in the Bay on May 19th at 12pm, featuring DJs, MCs, dancers, music, crafts, food, unlimited drink boxes, cash bar for mamas & papas, and of course lots of dancing! Bay Area Storytelling Festival
Oral storytelling is an art for all ages, from the cutest kids and the hippest adults through the wisest grandparents. Every year, the festival offers a school study trip and a professional storytelling workshop on Friday. Saturday and Sunday we offer several performances for adults, a family program and more workshops. In 2013 we are offering a special event – an invitational spoken word slam for local teens. We are pleased to announce the tellers for the 2013 Bay Area Storytelling Festival! Award- winning storyteller and NPR commentator Kevin Kling tells hilarious, often tender stories. Megan Wells seeks the story eclipse when the ordinary world gives way to the light of the imagination. When Len Cabral tells stories, coyotes turn into ducks and we travel from Ethiopia to New England cranberry bogs. Yvette Brandy weaves stories and songs, and Will Hornyak promises to captivate, surprise and intrigue.
