ACLO's Hope for Tomorrow

Alamedans turned out in full force Dec. 13 to help the Alameda Civic Light Opera fulfill a goal of sharing musical theater with under privileged Island youth and families. The ACLO hosted a reception and holiday concert, Sounds of the Season, at Rhythmix Cultural Works to introduce the Hope for Tomorrow project, an endeavor to sell 1,000 tickets at $25 a piece for Annie (Aug. 8-9, 15-16, 21–23). The sold tickets will be given to the Boys & Girls Club of Alameda and Alameda Family Services for distribution to needy children and their families. Arts supports may also contribute to a fund set up for the same purpose. www.aclo.com Photogrpahy by Ed Jay
