In April 2010, East Bay foodies finally got the word they’d been waiting for — that Daniel Patterson, who has earned two Michelin stars at his San Francisco restaurant, Coi, was actually, for real, no kidding, going to set up camp in Oakland.

Friday June 21, 6pm - 8pm | $15/$10 members Come spend the lovely evening hours in the Garden to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Eden Canyon Winery will be prividing libations and there will be snacks to enjoy while you walk through the collection.
From experienced dancers to newbies, everyone is invited to an evening of rhythm, grooving and Dancing Under the Stars! Dancers will kick-up their heels and pack Jack London Square for free dance lessons, provided by the Linden Street Dance Studio. Each Friday night, Jack London Square will host a different dance theme including the Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa and Swing. The festive, free dance lessons begin at 8:30 PM, followed by a dance party, at 9:15 PM to try out all the new moves. Visitors can bike, ferry or drive to Jack London Square, as well as hop on the “FREE B” Broadway Shuttle for fast, free connections to/from Jack London Square.
