Have a Heart

On March 25 the Alameda Midway Shelter hosted its 15th annual Have a Heart Gala fundraiser. The gala, held at the Albert H. DeWitt O’ Club, featured various silent auction items, donated by many Alameda businesses. Attendees enjoyed dinner courtesy of Aroma restaurant, then danced to the Sinatra-style music of Chuck Campagnet and the Starduster Orchestra. All proceeds benefited the Midway Shelter’s programs for abused and homeless women and children in Alameda.
