Is was a dog day evening at Rosenblum Cellars on May 1 where Guide Dogs for the Blind hosted its 46th annual wine tasting fundraising event. More than 500 people and at least 10 dogs attended the event, which will provide funds towards the training of guide dogs. The Alameda chapter of Guide Dogs for the Blind is the largest (and second oldest) in the country. Guests could participate in a silent auction while indulging in wine tasting courtesy of Connoisseurs’ Guide to Wine as well as a number of culinary delights donated by local vendors.
