Like water views and Mexican food? Then the Emeryville Chevy’s may be just for you. It’s spacious, bright and lively with a solidly predictable Mex-for-the-masses kind of menu in oversized portions, with a killer view of the bay, too. It’s perfect especially, say, for a Cinco de Mayo visit or a happy hour stop after work, and it is super kid friendly (sombreros for birthdays, ole!). Fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, wraps, burritos, tamales, endless chips and salsa, margs by the pitcher and a tortilla maker in a casual cantina setting with a boisterous feel. Hang here with your pards but be patient with service if it’s your whole posse. (Too bad, by the way, the Alameda original is no more, boohoo.) Serves lunch and dinner daily.
