Housed in a 1920s Julia Morgan building on Piedmont Avenue, Homestead Oakland is hosting its fourth annual Dungeness Crab Feast on Tuesday, Nov. 21 and Wednesday, Nov. 22.
Served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both days, the prix-fixe family-style suppers were designed for people who don't feel like cooking on the days right before Thanksgiving.
The menu will include a winter squash salad with Little Gem lettuce, walnut vinaigrette, Boont Corners cheese, and pomegranate; fireplace-cooked Dungeness crab with charred broccolini, smashed potatoes, Béarnaise sauce, and heirloom chicory salad; and bittersweet chocolate mousse with peanut brittle and whipped crème fraîche.
Full price is $65 perdinner, but a supplemental half-crab can be ordered for an additional $15, and a half-price/half-portion option is available to children age 10 and under for $32.50.
