The band is touring to promote its third album.

Bastille consists of lead vocalist Dan Smith, keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris “Woody” Wood. The band’s first studio album, Bad Blood, was released in March 2013 and entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1. The album also included the break-out single “Pompeii,” an up-beat song that resonated with listeners and blasted up the UK Singles chart to peak at No. 2.

Bastille’s triumphant sound combines a clean synth-wave instrumentality with natural, authentic, rough-around-the-edges indie vocals, giving the band a friendly, invigorating sound reminiscent of action movie trailers and comparable to Fun or OneRepublic. The band was nominated for four Brit Awards in 2014, winning the British Breakthrough Act and getting dubbed as “Britpop’s new crown princes” by Rolling Stone magazine.

The band’s third studio album, Doom Days, dropped in June. Described as a concept album, it contains songs that describe the progression through a single night of a wild party, capturing perfectly the devil-may-care exuberance and temporary insanity of a good time. Prepare to have a good time at this concert as well.
