Award-winning, Berkeley-brewed Trumer Pils has just announced the rollout of its first-ever package redesign.
Created in partnership with New York City design agency Stranger & Stranger, the new look combines bold white and the brand's signature scarlet. A new back label includes an illustrated image offering pouring instructions and food-pairing suggestions.
“The brand takes a more sophisticated design route not often seen within the beer category in order to separate itself from a sea of other craft brands,” said Trumer Brewery director of marketing Gregor Mina, Director of Marketing.
Established in Berkeley in 2004, Trumer Brewery uses a 400-year-old family recipe employing German pilsner malt and noble hops and perfected at the original Trumer Brauerei in Salzburg, Austria. Having scored thirteen gold-medal wins at various prestigious international beer competitions, it holds the status of "most-awarded craft pilsner in the world."
"We believe this new look will help drive brand awareness amongst a younger generation of craft beer drinkers," Mina said.
The new packaging will be widely available throughout California by the end of November.
