Yet another great new restaurant on Broadway’s auto row. Just minutes from downtown, this eclectic restaurant and bar is another strong addition to the ever-growing Uptown scene. The menu offers diners a new take on classic Mediterranean and North African cuisine set in a comfortable lounge. Standouts include the shasha beef tibs with collard greens and cottage cheese served on delicious Ethiopian-style injera. Also, be sure to try the Jamaican-jerk chicken and grilled pork chops with sweet and sour pineapple glaze, all made fresh daily by chef Rene Cage. Top it all off with one of the inspired cocktail choices and raise a toast to the revitalization of Oakland. Serves lunch Mon.-Fri. and dinner daily. Happy hour 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Mon.-Fri.
