Fan Mail

Just a note to thank you for sending Ginny Prior to do the recent article, “Will Slash for Pay” [September/October 2007] on me. She was great fun to talk to, and the results were, I think, spectacular. I have had a lot of pieces done on me since Friday the 13th came out in 1980, but hers ranks at the top. You all have a real treasure in your magazine. My wife and I have read it with real delight since we moved to Alameda.

Fan Mail Redux
I just got my September/October 2007 copy of Alameda Magazine today. Thanks for such a wonderful article, “Painted Ladies,” about the Krusi house, and for the great picture promoting the Alameda Legacy Home Tour at the beginning of the calendar section. We really appreciate the publicity.
Gordon Newell, Alameda

CORRECTIONS
Attendees at the She’s Got Moxie: Eighth Annual Women Who Dare Event in the September/October Snapshots were misidentified. Zifa Fashanu, Michele deCoteau and Tara Pula were incorrectly identified as Nancy Heastings, Kaye VanValkenburg and Barbara Sayre. Also, the About a Band article on the Sun Kings, “Beatles Cover Band Rocks Alameda,” misspelled Steve Scarpelli’s name.
