Feast of Fortune

The East Meets West Foundation rang in the Year of the Dog with the third annual Feast of Fortune celebration Feb. 11 at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. The benefit, which raised funds to support the people of Vietnam, commenced with a wine reception and silent auction before featuring a colorful Lion Dance performance, live auction and premiere of Dreaming of a Normal Life, a documentary about the foundation's Operation Healthy Heart program, which provides open-heart surgeries to Vietnamese children with heart defects.
