The kids will love a chance to pick their own produce for their dinner.
The 31st Ardenwood Harvest Festival is a family-friendly event where you can put your kids to work experiencing old-time farming practices, like harvesting the ripe fall vegetables. Your kids can see how their counterparts, back in the day, had to live before any new-fangled iPads, smartphones, and video games. The kids will love a chance to pick their own produce for their dinner.
Harvest time was when farmers celebrated the end of the seasonal hard labor. At this festival, kids and adults can also enjoy magic shows, cider pressing, old-time music and crafts, a pumpkin patch, train rides, and more. Bring bags to take home the harvest.
