The Berkeley brewery’s Sacramento taproom will triple in size.

Berkeley-based Fieldwork Brewing Company announced this month that its Sacramento taproom will soon more than triple in size.

Because the brewery is becoming so popular in the Sacramento Valley, Fieldwork is expanding the Midtown taproom from 1,400 square feet to 4,900 square feet, as reported by TheFullPint.

Set to be completed by early spring, the renovated space will feature indoor lounge areas and a vastly larger outdoor patio space for those hot Sacramento summer nights and days.

It will also feature a new food menu spotlighting pizza, salads, sweets, brunch items, and a children’s menu: Details will be released over the next few weeks.

Fieldwork is also set to open its seventh location at Town Center Corte Madera in Marin County. It will join existing locations in Napa, San Ramon, San Mateo, and Monterey — along with Sacramento and the West Berkeley flagship.

As reported by TheFullPint, Fieldwork has brewed more than 500 unique beers — including IPAs, lagers, pale ales, sours, and stouts — since it opened in West Berkeley exactly five years ago.

Fieldwork was also number ten on the San Francisco Business Times‘ “100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area” list.
