My approach to operating a law practice is to build relationships in my community while offering quality affordable legal services. My primary practice areas are estate planning (trusts and estates), trust administration and probate. These particular areas can be extremely sensitive and difficult to navigate, and I pride myself on providing an individualized and compassionate experience for each client.
I am a native Alamedan (4th generation on my mother’s side) with strong ties and a deep appreciation for the Bay Area. I went through the public school system in Alameda and upon graduation from Alameda High School, I relocated to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California (USC); graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I continued my education at USC graduating from the USC School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2003.
Having the opportunity to return to my hometown, not only to reside, but to also practice law and provide my community with legal services has been an honor. I love what I do and look forward to many more years of providing estate planning and probate services on the island.

About the Top 5 Best Attorneys in the 2022 Best of Alameda
Alameda Magazine’s Best of Alameda was born with the idea to give readers in Alameda and throughout the East Bay a chance to voice their opinions on their personal ‘Family Favorite’ choices for Best Attorneys and all kinds of everyday categories. The program has evolved over the years, and hopefully, with a lot of input from our readers, we’ve been able to make it better and better.
The voting for Best of Alameda Best Attorneys is conducted in a two-round process. The first round occurs in the month of February with open write-in nominations for reader’s favorite Best Attorneys taking place. Write-in nominations continue to be open until the middle of April.
As the nomination period for Best Attorneys in the first round comes to a close in mid April, shortly after, the second round opens with the top nominee Best Attorneys being selectable in this final round of voting during the month of April and May. Write-in nominations are no longer available, and voters are open to select their favorite Best Attorneys from among those that are listed.
The final winners are posted in July
